8th Senior and 7th Junior National ITF Taekwon-Do Championship in 19-20 February

Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation has announced to organize the 8th Senior and 7th Junior National ITF Taekwon-Do Championship in 19th to 20th February 2010. This is the regular national event of Nepal ITF since its establishment in 1998. The official event of Nepal ITF will be held in Batar, Nuwakot District Committee of Nepal ITF, Nuwakot will host the Championship.

According the organizing committee chairman as well the chairman of the District Committee of Nepal ITF, Nuwakot,  Hari Krishna Shrestha, all the preparation has been completed where more than one hundred 50 selected national players from all over the country will participate.

Organizing Committee will also bare all the accommodation cost for the players, officials and coaches.

We all the Nepal International Taekwon-Do Families are in very sad moment after getting the news that Grand Master Tran Trieu Quan is trapped in his hotel

 
 
in Haiti from the unexpected earthquake that strucked that country. I and all the Taekwon-Do members, players, Instructors, officials and our supporters in Nepal would like to say to Grand Master Tran's Family and members of his organization how sorry we are to this tragedy. We pray to the God Gautam Buddha from the inner of our hearts for the safety of respected Grand Master Tran.

Sensei Adrian Gordon Ro has been honored by the Nepal National Martial Art Games Committee (NNMGC) and Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation (Nepal ITF) on the date of 14th January 2010.
 
 
Instructor of Judo, Kendo and other different martial art and especially in Combat and Self Defense Training, Sensei Ro has expressed his love to all the Nepalese Martial Artists and will to stay in Nepal forever. He promised to provide the special training for every Nepalese Martial Artists voluntarily.

President of Nepal International Taekwon-Do Federation, Krishna Bahadur balal gets ITF order medal by International Taekwon-Do Federation. ITF has honored him by this medal on the occasion of the ITF congress in Saint Petersburg,

visited the Central Dojang of Nepal ITF, Central office of Nepal ITF, Central office of Nepal National Martial Art Games Committee and watch the infrastructure of National Sports Council of Nepal. Other two members of the delegation team are Ryang Hyok Jae, director of Korean Taekwon-Do Committee and OIm Jong Chol Secretary of Korean Taekwon-Do Committee.

Master Kim Ung Chol, A great 8th Degree Master of ITF

Seniro master Kim Ung Chol is 1st master instructor of Nepal ITF on 1999. He is also chirman of ITF turnament committee and Vice President of ITF.

Army players got ITF Black Belt

Twenty Nepal Army players are now Black Belt of ITF Taekwon-Do. Nepal ITF has decided after the success of 20 players in the Black Belt First Dan exam by the Chief Instructor Anju Nath Shrestha and International Instructor Chetan Raj Giri on presence of the chief of the Suryadal Gan Bindo Khadka and the president of Nepal ITF Krishna Bahadur Balal on the date of 12th January 2010.

This is the first time in the history of Nepal ITF any Army man got the first degree. Nepal ITF has begun its training in Surya Dal Gan of Nepal Army since last year. Instructor Umesh Rajthala has been providing training to the Army men since last year. Army players had participated in two national championships till to this date and they bagged six gold and six silver all total.
